Essay on My Dream Place
756 Words4 Pages
My dream place would be a house on a Galapagos Island. My land will be located on the Isabella Island. It will be nice and relaxing because it has a constant weather all that time, perfect environment. Also I will have a nice 2 floor cabin. The cabins will look like the ones that you see in forest. My whole family will live there after I am 75. But before that I will spend my time gathering all the money to buy a piece of land, a plane, a boat, and some vegetable seed (lot of them). I want my dream place to be nice and relaxing where you can enjoy the environment and very peaceful weather. Since I am a vegetarian, I will own a farm with couple of horses, cows, chickens, couple of healthy, fully trained by me dogs, and the lands will be…show more content…
I want horses because we will have exercise and explore the island with my horse and travel with my horse anywhere I want. I want couple of cows because this will supply us milk, which we can convert them to butter, cheese, and ghee. I want chickens because this will supply us eggs that we can use to make cake, and when ever I or my wife gets sick, we will put the eggs in boiling water for about 15 minutes, and then take the outer shell off. Then cut it into 4 pieces and put pepper and salt on it and enjoy! Because my mother says if you are sick and eat the boiled egg, you will become better and back to normal. The chickens will have that 15 piece of land. The remaining 2 to 3 acres will be our house, next to the beach where we can hear the sounds and the smell of the ocean and the tide kicks in and out. Next to our house we will have a plane. I need that plane so whenever we want to get some food like cake, or tools and any other important stuff we can go out of the Island every 3 times a year to get the food, etc. Our house will be 2 floors and will be exactly like a cabin that you see in forest. We will have a chimney to keep the house warm. We get our water supply from a spring nearby. We can purify that water if we want. We use the spring water and use it as an everyday bathing water. Now as far as electricity is concerned, I can take solar panels and convert it to electricity since I know how I can do it. Now you might
In the FCE classes the students were set the delightful task to write about their dream house. I was set the task of choosing the best one and then blogging it but I have to admit I found it extrememly challenging so I decided to take the cowardly route and thus to put the top eight up and leave it to our readers discretion as to which you think is the best. I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I did. And thank you to the FCE students for sharing their wonderful ideas.
My Dream House
If I could create my own dream house for my future, I would need a lot of money to make it perfect.
I’ve always expected my dream house would be big, not like a villa, but bigger than normal family houses. When I dream about my future house, I always see the colour light blue in front of me. So my dream house shall be light blue outside and surrounded with lovely pink and blue flowers. The furniture inside would be dark brown and in an antique style. It shouldn’t remind me of a modern interior. A little garden has to be included.
In my dream my future home isn’t placed in a crowded city, I’d prefer to live in the countryside but not too far away from the stores as I’d like to be able to walk or cycle to go food shopping. It would be great if the next house were placed 50m from me so I could have enough privacy and it would be wonderful to have nice neighbours in case I ever need help.
In conclusion I hope I’ll have a great job someday to realise my dream house because I can think of nothing more important than to raise a family and get old in a wonderful home that I’ve dreamt up. I can’t wait!
Home sweet home
Since I moved to Noosa I have become closer to nature and I have fallen in love with the idea of living near the beach, waking up and seeing the sea whilst listening to the birds and just feeling relaxed when I open up my eyes.
My dream house will be located exactly where I am living now in Noosa and I will tell you why. This is the place that I feel absolute freedom and this is probably because of the good vibrations that exist there. Furthermore, there are some of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever seen.
When I think of my house I can just think of a big white house which transmits tranquillity where I can feel comfortable and where I want to stay inside more than outside. I expect to have a nice pool, the best sofa in the world to watch films on Netflix and also a big backyard with a hammock and a barbecue grill to spend my weekends eating with my friends.
To conclude, my ideal house is where I will be able to open the window and see the ocean while I’m lying in my hammock and know that I’m living exactly where I always wanted to – the real meaning of Home Sweet Home.
My Dream Home In New Zealand
Some of you probably expect that every student wants to live in a luxurious house with a pool and expensive cars. But not me! I dream of living in an old vineyard in New Zealand.
The vineyard would be built in a traditional way which means it should like an old farmhouse and be surrounded by nature. I don’t want to drive for hours the city so it should be located on the outskirts of Auckland, but not too far away. If possible, it should also be cloase to a lake, because I love going for a swim on hot summer days. The vineyard should, apart from the vines, also include a barnyard for some animals like cows or horses.
Even though it sounds like a simple lifestyle, I’d like to have a modern interior. A big living room with an open kitchen would be very nice and also enough rooms for the guests or for doing some sport like yoga. A big balcony with a beautiful view of the vines and nature would be peaceful. It would also be nice for celebrating birthdays and having a glass of your self-made wine.
All I need is a place where I can calm down after a hard working day. And if I want some more action I can drive into the city or go on an adventurous holiday.
My Perfect Aussie Beach House
If I won the lottery the first thing I’d do is to fulfil my dream of having a beautiful beach house. It would be near the sea to have good access to the surf at any time. So which country would be the most suitable?
Due to the fact that Australia hadn’t been discovered by Europeans a long time ago, I could search for new land and build my dream house here. It should definitely be a two storey house with a large backyard and a really big garage. Furthermore I’d like to have it surrounded by trees and have my own garden.
The house itself doesn’t have to be very spacious or have many features. As long as I can store my 3 surfboards in my garage and have some electricity to cook my homegrown vegetables I’ll be more than happy. In view of the fact that I’d like to be indetpendent I’d use the spacious garage to run my business selling surfboards. In other words the only think I have to do now is earn a lot of money and marry an Australian girl so I can migrate and live here.
My Perfect Place to Live
I think a lot of people dream about living in a huge villa, but not me, I’d like to have a cosy small place to live. I’d prefer to live near Zurich but not in the centre of the city. If I could choose my dream place, it would be in a big apartment on the top floor with a really nice view over the lake and nature.
For me, the best choice at the moment would be to live in an apartment, because you do not have to clean as much as in a big house. I do not need a garden. I would like to have a huge terrace and the bedrooms should be spacious.
My apartment will have a lot of good features. On my terrace there’ll be a few plants and flowers and maybe a whirlpool where you can bathe while looking at the stars at night. My kitchen would be modern but not with too many visible electrical appliances. The most important thing is I need a TV in my bedroom and a walk in closet for my clothes and shoes. The sofa should also be very comfortable in order to chill out.
Although I live in the luxury of a big villa I’d prefer to live in a special apartment with many small advantages. Lastly, I’d like to have a dog that’ll live with me in my penthouse paradise.
My lovely little cottage
In my dreams, I live in a little cosy cottage in the countryside of Ireland. A little town should be easy to reach to do the shopping or just to drink some tea with friends.
My housemates would be a dog, two cats and a few rabbits. The dog and the cats should have enough space to run around, which is why I’ll have a lovely big garden. In my garden there’ll be an apple tree with a cosy bench to relax and to enjoy the sunshine. At Christmas time, the cottage will have a string of fairy lights around the roof.
Inside the cottage there will be a living room with a huge couch and a nice sized TV. The kitchen should be designed in the country style and there should be enough space to bake some cupcakes or to cook dinner with friends. There’ll also be a chimney and fireplace to heat the cottage on cold winter days. I also want to have a big bed in the bedroom and a walk-in closet. In the bathroom there’ll be a whirlpool in the middle and a huge shower. I’ll also have a guest room with its own bathroom where I can offer Air B’n’B accommodation. There’ll be a separate entrance to this room and enough rooms in the cottage for my family and friends as they are always welcome to come and visit me.
My Dream House
During my life I have lived in many different places and in many different countries but which place was the best? Where would I like to live forever? What is my dream house? It’s a difficult question because living in an amazing villa on the beach or living in a small flat in the city both have their own advantages and disadvantages. If I really had to choose only one place, it would be a big apartment in a large cultural city such as London, Rome, Paris or Prague.
What would the apartment be like? Well, because I would like to live with my family – my partner and future kids – it needs to be a big apartment with 4 or 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a big living room. Everybody needs to have their own space. We’d also need a small office for my partner as well as a big bedroom and playroom for the kids.
The most important thing is light. I love it when the sun is shining and the house has a charming atmosphere because of that. All decoration needs to be comfy and look warm. I can imagine that the furniture reminds me of something historical, romantic or vintage. Although this is my dream, I don’t want to live in a museum – I want it to be a home and a home is not about the material things a home is about love and the people.
So what is my dream house then? It is a place, no matter where, that I can wake up every day with a smile and with the light of the people I love.
Home sweet home.
What would you do if you were rich and could build any kind of house? I would definitely build my dream house. Of course it’s only my imagination but I will never lose my hope to fulfil it.
It’s so difficult to choose a place where I would like to build my house, because in the world there are so many beautiful and astonishing places. But if I had the choice I would choose a place next to the sea, perhaps in Australia or Bora Bora.
My dream house is a big villa surrounded by palms and a lot of space. I should look quite modern but cosy as well. In other words, I should be comfortable for a family.
The villa should have a big garden, a pool a BBQ area and a boat station for my private yacht. A must have in my house is a modern kitchen including high technology gadgets. In my cellar I would have a home cinema and a wellness area to relax and get away from the daily routine. Furthermore, every bedroom will have an aquarium instead of a wall.
All in all, I know it may sound improbably but everyone has dreams and nobody should stop dreaming – never give up!
